Every opal on our website is a genuine solid Australian opal. Unlike doublets or triplets, solid opals are safe to come into contact with water. However, we recommend keeping your opal away from chemicals, as they may damage the stone’s surface. Please note that opals should be handled with care, as they may be damaged if knocked or dropped.
